Wow! Another one gone. Actor Corey Haim has passed from what is being called an accidental overdose. Corey was a very successful child actor and best friend of fellow child actor Corey Feldman. Haim can be remembered in movies such as Lost Boys and Licensed To Drive! We at HigherThanSatire send a big R.I.P. to Corey!
Dan Rather and the watermelon comment seems to be hitting the airwaves with running feet. Seems that ole' Dan used of all words; "watermelon" in a reference to President Barrack Obama. Ultimately, we all have put our foot in out mouth before but this takes the fruit! Read more here!

It seems that people are suggesting that always lookin' young Stacy Dash and crooner and occasional movie star Jamie Foxx are an item. Hmmm, not sure I am feeling them as a couple. They do not make a great match. Of course this is probably just hog wash anyway!

Valve Software today officially announced that it is bringing its Steam game distribution platform, as well as its own library of games, to Mac OS X next month. Steam and Valve's library of games including Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, Portal, and the Half-Life series will be available in April. Get it line, its on baby!
Well it seems that Apple's continuing market share growth is now reaching other lands. According to our friends over at TUAW, Apple "Specifically, Apple shipped 182,000 machines in the fourth quarter of 2009, giving it a 5.5 percent total market share in France. It should be noted that Apple didn't reach the top five in any other European country"! Can you say wow! Where there is product that people love, money and support will follow!
Not that she was a singer or even could carry a note; but it is true that Jennifer Lopez actually had a record deal. Well, it looks like she and her label have decided to part ways.
